Standard EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology
EyeSight monitors traffic movement, optimizes cruise control, and warns you when you're swaying outside your lane. The Automatic Pre-Collision Braking feature can even apply full braking force and bring you to a complete stop in emergency situations[11]. It also includes Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering[12], which can take some of the stress out of driving by helping with steering, braking, and throttle control.

A suite of active safety features is available on the 2022 Ascent, all working together to protect you and your family. The available Blind-Spot Detection[15] system warns you with a visual indicator on each side mirror if it senses a vehicle in your blind spots. Available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert[15] helps warn you of traffic approaching from the side as you are backing up. With available Reverse Automatic Braking, the Ascent can even stop itself to help avoid objects behind you[16].
